Being rooted and grounded
Ephesians 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory,
to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17.That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in
love,
18.May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth,
and length, and depth, and height;
19.And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye
might be filled with all the fullness of God.
God wants us strengthened in our inner most being. Not weak or frail to be carried away with temptation, doubt fear, or any other vices.
We are 3 dimensional beings. Spirit, Soul, Body. With a breadth, length and height. but without God 's love we are empty. A good illustration is a swimming pool. It has a width, length and a height. but no depth. Until you put water in that swimming pool you cannot have depth. But once you put water in you have depth that is tangible, refreshing, comforting, and most of all it fills every part.
When we receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior he comes into us. He heals our brokenness, fills our emptiness, inhabits our loneliness, and bring inner joy that cannot be found any other way.,
Because of sin that entered mankind through the disobedience of Adam ( the first man) we were left empty. with a God shaped hole in our life. Man tries to fill it with all sorts of things. But like a piece in a puzzle, Nothing fills a God shaped hole but God and his love. God made a way for us to be filled by his love by accepting Jesus as our Lord and savior.
When you receive Jesus Christ as your savior You receive eternal life, and the availability of
inner strength you never knew before.
1) Redemption. Definition:

The action of being saved from sin, error, evil.

The action of regaining or gaining possession of

We should be hiding or memorizing Gods word in our hearts. As we do this we are strengthened in our inner man.
Psalm 119:11Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name
of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may
believe on the name of the Son of God.
